Perfect World, publishers of the new Action MMORPG, Neverwinter have announced that they’ll be transitioning out of Open Beta on June 20th, 2013 into a full live release.
With the upcoming release of Neverwinter, slated for June 20th, Perfect World have announced that they’ll be rolling out Gauntlgrym, an end-game area combining PvE, PvP and dungeon gameplay together to create a unique new experience. Additionally, players are invited to join the new test server soon to preview the changes coming with Gauntlgrym.
Better still comes the announcement of the first wave of expansion content, Fury of the Feywild, which as yet remains a mystery. The official page says only this:
“They would seize from the moon the way to ruin and riches. Sharandar is under siege. Can you save it? Coming Summer 2013.”
For players like myself, who have already begun to tire on the current offering of end-game content, this news comes warm and welcome. Neverwinter is clearly a cut above the cloth for free to play MMORPG content, and if new releases like Gauntlgrym and Fury of the Feywild keep coming, I imagine it’s only going to get better.
